Our plan A when Marie was first pregnant was to have Karina share her room with “2 Baby”. When we learned that 2 Baby was really 2 babies, we had to come up with a plan B. This involves converting the former unfinished furnace/storage space in our basement into an additional bedroom. The last photos represent the most current progress in the construction. More will follow.

Making Up For Lost Time
We’ve been busy these last few months. Marie’s hard at work; both at the office and making two little boys. Tim has been remodeling the basement to give us room for our burgeoning family. Karina loves her daycare and has lots of fun with friends.
Here is a 3D ultrasound of Baby B. Baby A unfortunately had his hands in front of his face, so we couldn’t get a good shot
Dave and Karin Ericson made a visit in January.
Dan Strydom conveniently had a forensics conference in Seattle in February.
Karina loves her new big girl bed. Knock on wood, it’s been two nights and so far she hasn’t figured out that she can climb out… Thanks Amanda and Viveka!
Like father, like daughter. Karina was very eager to help assemble her bed.
Mmmm, sweet potato fries…
Cuckoo faces!
When Karina says “cheese” for a picture, she scrunches up her entire face. She is sporting a hand-knit sweater and hat from her Ya-Ya.
Karina is trying on her Mamma’s shoes.
“I love peas!”
Getting dizzy…
Fun with Natalie and Alice.
Ring around the rosie with Alice.
Snuggling up with JD, Elias, and Nicholas for a good read.
Lions and tigers and bears, Oh my!
Karina’s new swinging technique.
“Hey there post, where’ve you been?”
