Making Up For Lost Time

We’ve been busy these last few months.  Marie’s hard at work; both at the office and making two little boys.  Tim has been remodeling the basement to give us room for our burgeoning family.  Karina loves her daycare and has lots of fun with friends.

Dave and Karin Ericson made a visit in January.

Dan Strydom conveniently had a forensics conference in Seattle in February.

Karina loves her new big girl bed.  Knock on wood, it’s been two nights and so far she hasn’t figured out that she can climb out…  Thanks Amanda and Viveka!

2010 is going to be an exciting year...

A and B Ericson! This is the first ultrasound picture. Needless to say we were a little surprised the first time we saw this view :)

Here is Baby A (with Baby B's head as well). The two little boys are due in early June.

Here is Baby B's profile. Their code names for now are Thor and Bjorn until we can agree on names :)

Karina doesn't really know what is in store for her yet, but she says good morning to the babies and gives them kisses already! Here she is in a pretty sweater and hat knit by Ya Ya.

Christmas and some older pictures...

Merry Christmas! We have had a nice relaxing Christmas here in Seattle with Marie's brother Rinus. The weather is gorgeous but cold. We have spent some fun times outside still, all bundled up going on a walk to the playground and at Alki beach. The past two months have been busy. Marie started a new job at OneAmerica managing their citizenship initiatives and is really enjoying it. Karina started daycare and after a rough start is loving it. She talks about her friends at school all the time. She is saying more and more words every day.

Marie's first day at her job and Karina's first day of daycare. Karina wasn't too impressed. We were telling her that Mamma was going to go to work and she would say, "No" and scream when we dropped her off. Now she barely acknowledges us when we come to pick her up and doesn't want to leave her friends.
