We are slowly settling in to life back on the East Coast. Last weekend we enjoyed the heat (even the humidity!) by cooling off in our pool (finally after a week of rain!). Karina loved it! Paul is not too sure about the water, but Neil seemed to enjoy it as well. While Tim is enjoying his new job, the kids and Marie have been busy exploring parks, play areas and coffee shops in the area. Coffee shops do not compare to Seattle (especially Walters!) but one has a great story time on Mondays and plenty of room for the kids to roam around.
Paul has started taking a few steps and will soon be trouble! Neil has no interest. He's fast enough crawling :) Karina is really becoming independent and is very proud of all the things she can do by herself, like getting dressed and swimming in the pool. She loves to help Marie in the kitchen. She is especially excited about making cupcakes this week for her brothers' first birthday. Hard to believe a year has gone by. We will try to post some pictures next weekend of them eating their cupcakes.

Emilija is six years old! Everyone had fun at her bowling party. Especially Uncle Tim :)
